What a useless piece of 300 MB
Eidos let's you rot !

I quote from them:

"This software is "UNSUPPORTED" by either Core Design Ltd. or Eidos Interactive. At no time will agents or employees be required to provide the end-user assistance with the installation, configuration or operation of this software."

IN OTHER WORDS:

You bought it, you figure it out, we're not gonna help you, just de-compile the software yourself and try to fix the problem.

THAT is what they're saying.

Jees, this was the last time I ever bought one of their products.

What if my employer were to tell their customers: "We hook you up to the phone-net, but if you got problems you're on your own."

THAT is what Eidos is doing.

Hope I can still get my money back at the store, but I really doubt it.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

Only thing I got was:
"Greetings,

This message has been automatically generated to let you know that we have received your request for assistance. We at Eidos Interactive are committed to replying as
quickly as possible, but during periods of high e-mail volume the reply time may be length.

Please do not re-submit your message unless prompted, as it will ultimately delay a personal response to your initial query.

[Occasionally, system hiccups may result in a second notice of receipt coming to your mailbox. In such a case, please disregard it; we're sorry for the inconvenience.]

***This is a auto-reply, please to not reply to this message. All replies to this message are deleted.***

Thank you for your continuing patience."

NO EIDOS, thank you for NOT helping.

Well I can only say that my editor along with almost everyone elses work fine. Eidos doesn't have to support it because it was given to us for free. So be happy with what you got and work with it. I've seen some mighty fine levels produced and I ain't complaining.

Hate that you feel that way, man, but this program was free and there are enough brainiacs on this forum to help with about any question I have seen thus far. I had much trouble out of the program when I installed and loaded it (for free) but reading posts on this BB and asking questions has helped me, along with everyone else, out a lot. I, myself, have had the pleasure of playing a lot of very fine, professional levels submitted by some very talented people. Thanks to all.

Actually, the only reason I bought this final installment with, according to ppl i know, re-runs of levels I allready had was that it came with a level editor, so that's not for free, but that's your view of it.

Haven't we allready been to some of these places ? I admit the ropewalk feature is a nice one as far as I know it's the only new feature of Lara, oh well.

On to more important things, can I play those levels I see everywhere without the editor ?

Cause it crashes right after i execute it.

One thing this experience teaches me though, NEVER BUY A GAME JUST BECAUSE IT'S WITH A LEVEL EDITOR...

You need to download the times level. Goto tombraiders.com and find the level editor section, it tells you how to play levels without the level editor.
