I am going mad. I create water ok, but my surface doesn't move. I know the animation ranges box should have a gren line around them when i open them but it doesn't. so i right click and they are green. but in the game it is just still and i am getting really annoyed and another thing, how can i get moving textures like that fan in vci and the glowing computers and stuff or the flickering telly? i have no access to my manual so i dunno
thanks

why dont you have access to the manual? cause if you want to create a level you NEED it.

I can't be asked to explain about my manual....although amazingly my common sense told me that i needed a manual to make a level!!! when i bought the game, i installed the pdf thing and it wouldn't open in the reader. so i removed it, downloaded it from adobe and it still failed. o i rely on nice people telling me. and if you are wondering why i am so ratty it is cos i have flu and i a m dying and i want to give up and i am sorry.i need to lay down
thanks anyway

hey moose i know what its like to have the flu so i'm going to help you
okay here goes
first to get the textures to animate you have to right click and drag the green box across the textures the make up the animation so for example lets say that you have 8 water textures in order to get the water to animate you have to right click and drag the green box across all 8 of the textures the same goes for the vci fans but and this is important the textures that you want to animate must be together in the animation range box or it will not work in other words they must be lined up next to each other and in the same row if you have water textures all over the animation range box and you only make one of the textures green the water will not animate
I hope the helps

the world is a wonderful place when things are done right
