Just came from the "tools" section of Tombraider Custom Levels and noticed that the logo at the top was doing sort of a rain dance. Reckon a man could get one of those for his own site, Colin, even if it isn't a TR site? Is that something anyone can get to make a logo look like that? Uh, these past 2 posts may be wothless and pointless but I'm at work for the next 10 hours and have no communication with anyone other than sending posts and reading them, so please bear with me if I post some stuff from time to time tonight. I would like to be able to answer questions and help people like most do on this BB and be able to contribute my knowledge instead of always asking but, alas, I have none to offer for I am a meager beginner just learning by reading past posts and asking questions. Thanks to all who have helped me when I was (and sometimes still am) in need. P.S. Just something neat that I noticed. My last post read 5:17 pm but the time here is 8:54 pm. Yeah, I know that there is a time zone and everything, I just think it's neat. ------------------ It's easier to get forgiveness than permission IP: Logged |

Thanks for your praise. As you've been so nice I'll tell you how the tools banner was done, although the one on the links page is my favourite. I used a Java program called Anfy, if you click on any of the animated banners (which is worth doing as they do cool things on mouseover) a box comes up, click on connect to go to Anfy's site or try http://wsabstract.com/, lots of java and dhtml goodies here.p.s. Sorry about getting your name wrong, I'll change it now.(You're on 97 downloads to date btw) Col. ------------------ Come and visit us for all manner of TRLE related goodies New this week Temple of Jazimiya, The Ice Pyramid, Palace of Cyrus and The Lost Compass levels, plus a funky new download page and the chance to vote for your favourite level...and bats!!! Thanks for the info, Colin! I'll download that dude when I get home. I'm still at work for about another 3 hours. I think I could use something like that on my music site. Thanks for changing my "EnterSandman" name too. 97 downloads (wow!). Thanks again!! ------------------ It's easier to get forgiveness than permission IP: Logged | |
