It would be cool if there was a tool that can turn a mp3 music into a wav file. So then you could trigger your favorite music in the game. Wouldn't it be cool?Well anyways is there a tool that can do that?IP: Logged |

There is software that will do that. There may be some who will disagree with me on this, but Music Match Jukebox is an excellent program for making/converting MP3s. There are many programs available for download, but Music Match works great for me. http://www.musicmatch.com ------------------ It's easier to get forgiveness than permission IP: Logged |

Never mind the above post. You have to record it at 44 16bit stereo sound file using, well, I don't know. My computer came with the software that will let you do this. Maybe yours did too. My program is called Media Rack. Any help on this, guys?------------------ It's easier to get forgiveness than permission IP: Logged |

Either way if you want others to experience your music they will have to download it. If you could make the game convert the file as it plays that would be cool. You need to make the wav files MS-ADPCM format too. I use Cool Edit Pro to do that. There are lots of apps that convert mp3's to wav's. Try Mp32wav. Thats what i useIP: Logged |

I've been using Sound Forge XP, it comes with most Sound Blaster Live cards. The trick is the file has to be 44Khz, 8-bit and in Microsoft ADPCM Wav format.IP: Logged |

44Khz, 8-bit and in Microsoft ADPCM Wav format! That's right, I always get stuff like that wrong. "44 16 bit stereo". Boy, was I off! Not even close. Thanks, Monolith! ------------------ It's easier to get forgiveness than permission IP: Logged |
