I put a room under another, this lower room is filled with water, and the upper one has an island: the rooms are well linked, I did and undid the door many times: the door is with the toogle opacity 2, I don't understand why, but the walls in the edge of the water and the island itself WAVE like water.... what's the problem? can someone help me? I did others rooms with water, and they seem to work well... the wad is mine personally done with some object imported wih the trwest, the original was from the revised city wad....

try different numbers in the box next to the water button eg. 1 makes a smooth water surface 2 makes it a little more rough you can go as high as 4 with 4 being very wavy

Psiko.... if the level of the island or any part of it is at the same level as the water then this will happen..... the island has to be at least one click above the surface. you will not be able to make a depression in the island to lower any part of it to water level.

Forgot to add that you can get around this by making several portals AROUND your island, instead of just one for the whole area........

sorry, but the island has not parts down the water, infact I did and redid the door in the right way.... (infact it is impossible to redo the same door after you put a part of the upper room down the water) but even the edge round the water does like that: it is two click high up the water.... and I tried making even 8 doors round the island.... it simply does not work... can it be becouse I put too many objects in my level?

I tried everything and at the end I decided to do the toogle opacity 2 at that door from the lower room: in this way the portal works like water, but there are no waves..... but I solved this problems of animation, lifting up some squares in order to not left visible this error.... infact in any way, if you have a square of water between two high square, the water square does not do the animation....
