I have been building my own level with the level editor suplied with TR Chronicals and have been succesfully playing it. That is until I decided to add an extra rrom on, nothing fancy, just a couple of baddies and a pole. I outputted the wad etc.... but now when i try to load up Tr4 to play my level it crashes out before it reaches the title screen. Yes I have made sure that lara is in the level and have even reverted back to my original level in the hope that i had made an error when creating the new room. I would be really grateful for any suggestions as i have come too far to start again.

The Lara in the level thing is usually the case, the only other thing I can think of is to make sure you have outputted to the same wad as you used for your objects and not done half in one and the rest in the other.

Thanks Colin but i think i know what i have done. The only problem is that i have no idea how to sort it out. Whilst viewing some of the graphics in the wads file i had to select a file to open the program with as it didn't have one. Now I am not sure how to restore the settings. That is the only thing that i can think i might have changed. Any ideas??

Making an association between files and programs shouldn't effect them. Can you still open your prj, if so try reloading the objects and textures, re-output it and try that, or check that your doors are ok. I did that once, accidentally deleted a room withour deleting the door first. You would usually get an EVIL Object detected error then though

Just had another thought, have you changed your english or script txt files in any way, if so try replacing them with the ones on the disc. or try moving your prj and tom somewhere safe then uninstall and re-install the game

Colin you are a life saver. I did think about reinstalling but wasn't sure if i would lose all my work. Anyway i saved my level onto disk then reinstalled. It worked great and i'm not having any problems anymore. Thanks for all your help.
