Instead of everyone designing new outfits for Lara, how about changing some of the objects' textures in the WADs? I bet somebody out there could alter the door textures and such to make them appropriate for a high-tech level, right?
If my drawing abilities weren't so incredibly pathetic, I'd try it myself

You can get strpix2 from our tools page, it might be a safer option at the mo.

Strpix2.exe is crap, use the new Strpix3.exe for retexture directly any object anbd extract texture pirces easily.

and get the WadInfo. It allows you to redefine the texture coordinates and modifies the WAD accordingly.
I made the double door in Tut1 be see-throught grids.

Works. But's all it can do. And you still need strpix to get eh Bitmaps.

how do i open existing wads? i mean the objects to tecture them. or do i have to save it as a bitmap and go through it with a fine toothed comb?
