I cannot get this level to work. I followed all of the instructions. When i select the level to play, it crashes back to the desktop. The english.dat & script.dat files were not in the zip. If i compile the english.txt and script.txt, the game crashes. Thanks if you can help.

The problem is this level is very large and big on textures, unless you have a fairly large graphics card you won't have enough memory. I had the same problem playing on a laptop with a 2Mb AGP card, you should find the second level works ok tho. I apologise for this I thought it was just me that couldn't play it.Col. IP: Logged |

Using the script file included in the zip, none of the levels load, not even the tutorial level. I think there is something wrong with the script

Many , many apologies. I have just checked it again, and it's all down to a typing error, it should say extract english and script.txt to your trle/script folder then run easylife. However the script is wrong for some reason, I have just repaired it and posted the file up again, but I have also added the repaired script in a zip called celticscript.zip so you can download the right one, without having to d'load the whole file again....what a week I'm having!! Sorry Col [This message has been edited by Colin Grigson (edited 04-09-2001).] IP: Logged |
