WHY CAN'T EIDOS JUST RELEASE THE TR5 WADS??? SCRAP THAT, ANY WADS WOULD BE GOOD! I'm thinking of selling the level editor, as i'm getting really bored with it, really fast.

I AGREE!!!!! The editor is getting seriously boring!!!! Come on release the TR5 wads!!! Especially the Tower Block levels!!!

I agree too, but I don't think Eidos is even looking at this forum anymore. When is the last time Reb answered a posting? She used to be the best part of this whole thing. Well, maybe she's busily designing all-new custom WADs for us (with dinos, jeeps, cyborgs and everything else we've all been begging for.) Yeah right.

TR1-3 and TR5 wads are impossible. Read the "Eidos Please Read" post from torrok. Turbo_Pascal gives a good explanation as to why.

You need a new level convertor to use the TR1-3&5 wads. With the current level convertor, you only can use the ANIMATING objects and the static objects from these wads (if you import these objects)

OK, if the reason for the restriction on wads is technical, why don't Eidos just realease some sort of new download for the editor which converts it to use other tr games wads, i.e if you wanna use the tr5 wads, you install a converter and convert it, you wanna use tr1 wads then use another converter, surely some system like this is possible? Anyway, no news is good news remember, Reb and the rest of Eidos could be realeasing tonns of new stuff for the editor in the near future, who knows?

I guess the thing to remember is that the editor was included as a free bonus with Chronicles, so we shouldn't expect unlimited support. Too bad Chronicles was less than half the size of Last Revelation, though.
