Ok, heres one for ya. Whilst designing a new level I decided I would need a custom WAD...TRWEST was the tool...So, I edited the WAD, saved it, and began. In the editor everything was great. When I went to play test the level, my bats and crocs (the "New kids in the WAD") had a problem - They were LARAS hips! Not very scary at all! To add insult to injury, they dont even sway! Help (no not on the swaying part). Ive opened the WAD in STRIPIX3 and the meshes are there with perfect texture........Help!IP: Logged |

If you can see them in StrPix3 and in TRLE, there's no reason you shouldn't see them in game. Is your new wad the same name as your output tom file? That's the only thing I can think of that would cause it. ------------------ KingSpyder KingSpyder@thefreesite.com KingSpyder's World http://kingspyder.topcities.com/ Doctor Who: The Transcripts Project & KingSpyder's Tomb Raider Levels IP: Logged |

OK, odd part....Not only is it the same name, but (for example) if I took tut1 WAD, edited it, saved it (same name, same location) and built a level, in STRIPIX3 it would be great, and in the editor, great, but when I run it, anything in my WAD that wasnt orig. there becomes a set of hips. Interesting part is, Ive gone as far to edit Laras costume textures, the Level textures, etc. And successfully so. Im wondering why its picking MESH 17 (I think, her hips) for only new things? This is a goofy one for sure. Moreover, the switches for ONLY the new objects seem to have no effect. The hips dont appear, attack, or follow any AI. They are there before triggered as well.IP: Logged |

Another thing, after having played with the editor even more, placing the Objects in the rooms VERY carefully, when they are centered in rooms exactly they dont even appear as hips! They dont appear! This is truly bizzare! If any of the programmers/techs have a clue, dont hold back.....Please!

I'm at a loss for this one. It *should* work. Hopefully Mike will see this and have the answer.
