yes, the brigde is cool, but.... not so interactive, it seems it is done only to be seen, and not played.... I live in rome, and I can create Saint Peter's Church, if I want, but I have to do something more to make it as a playable and enjoyable level for tomb raider....

psiko: I think you must be referring to the original Tower Bridge. I am in fact almost completing Tower Bridge 2 which I can assure you will be totally interactive. The level will contain lots of action (with the motorbike and shooting matches with hoards of soldiers) there will also be plenty of puzzles for those who love them. I am hoping it will be finished before the end of July.

Lara Severi: Thanks for the vote of confidence, it makes level creating all that more enjoyable.

Colin: It will seem so real you may want to move in (LOL)

BEAUTIFUL! just beautiful! but if you keep staring at the pics, you can see that it is actually makable, you just have to stack rooms, and make slopes, that's all there is to it! but, still, very very impressive, better than anything i made so far!

If all you guys care about is looks, then why not play some games with good graphics. Tomb Raider is ancient technology now and looks like crap no matter how good you design levels.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions...

TR on the playstation with low-res graphics
has a very weird and great atmosphere
which super hi-res computer games lose...
Reality isn't sharp and defined.

Atmosphere is a metaphysical nuance and sense.
Nothing logical.

You can make some great atmospheres with
Tomb raider.

As you will find with my own levels and Mr.Dhama's... and others...

*SENSE* is a very important factor in design.

I think the most important point when designing a custom TR level, is to make it as different as possible from the original levels using as you so rightly point out blacknile, ancient technology. The fact that we have been given the chance however, to create our own levels with this 'out of date software' gives us certain control over developement of a truly classic game that we didn't have before. With this in mind I think we should relish this opportunity with open minds and have as much fun as possible.
