I am really angry about something on this forum. Why are people having to be making programs to get things WE should be getting anyway. I feel so sorry for people on this forum trying to get a bloody jeep when it should just be given to us.
And don't tell me:
"Oh but eidos gave us the editor so we should be really grateful to them".
Oh yes!!! I am eternally grateful...for an editor with no manual!!!!
We should not have to be making programs to strip wads and stuff so we can get a jeep, oh my god, if we were just given it, it would save us all a lotta hassle. I read a few people are angry that eidos are not giving us enough wads....it is so true. Not giving us a game this year is skanky. What about those TR fans who have to wait cos they have no editor? I feel for them, really. And mac owners too. It is becoming shambolic. I know the film is coming but the film doesn't work in the editor now does it? I am not saying that those people who make great programs are being made fools out of, I am just saying that, by supplying us with wads, then they should keep doing it. Don't come back to me with a brown nose saying "oh we owe them our lives". I HATE that. Just get a grip and see that we bought the blasted editor and have put DOLLARS into the pockets of core and eidos.
We MADE the tomb raider series the success it is today. It is the same with a popstar. You get them to number one and you go for an autograph and some bald headed bouncer who is in his mid life crisis bounds in saying "uh, no!!!" to you. I am rambling now and I am getting really angry. I am dissapointed in eidos for not supplying us with what we want. I know I have said the santamonious bull crap before but now it is getting beyond a joke!!!
Ok, well I am off to enjoy my easter and hope you can all do too.

Having a bad day, aren't you?
Of course it would be nice to have more WADs, I don't think anyone will disagree with you there. But, short of having every single TR WAD given to us, would we ever be satisfied? I mean, when we got the extra WADs back in December (or whenever it was), we were all ecstatic. A month later, though, we started seeing polls on the forum asking "Which WAD do we want next?" Surely the people posting these polls didn't already finish using the WADs which were available.
If we looked at the forum tomorrow and saw a custom-made WAD with a Jeep and a Dinosaur, we'd be happy for another month, and then the complaints would start pouring in again.
I'm just as guilty as this as everyone else, so I realized it was time to take a break. I started writing music again, and playing other games. I still play around with the editor (and visit the forum), but it's not the focal point of my life.
Oh well... there was no point to this reply. Just felt like babbling for a bit.

I suppose there'll come a time when the editor itself will get boring, people will just lose interest in the original tomb raider strategy, jump and grab block, climb up, walk right: core could just refuse to give us any more wads, who knows?
