I see posts about the "Jeep" and posts about "tr4" wads with users looking to add these things to their library of goodies.

If you haven't yet done so, go to...
http://www.jps.net/mikejj/trwest/

and download the latest TRwest program and associated files. This has to be one of the greatest programs since the release of the Level Editor.

The program allows you to extract all of the wads from all of the tr4 games, including The Last Revelation and the Exclusive Times level. You can then use the program to add or remove objects from your wads, including the Jeep and all the other objects.

The home page for the above site is an online manual that I'd recommend you print out. There's some critical info that pertains to getting objects into your wads successfully.

As an example of how simple it is, after booting the program, click "File..." and select "Load Reference File." Change the "Files of type..." to tr4 files. Then, with your TRLR CD in your drive, navigate to the Data folder on the CD and select a level. You'll then see that level appear in the left hand window of the program. You can click on the "plus" character to expand the listing of objects. If you want to save it out as a wad, select the main name and click the [Add] button. You'll then see checkmarks beside all of the objects that are in the wad in the right hand window. From here, just click "File..." and "Save as..." Be sure to give it a "WAS" extension as well as a name. If you do this with each level, you can build your own library of wads.

If all you want is to extract an object out of one of the TRLR wads, you can just select the level as shown above, and then select and "Add" the object to the wad that you are creating in the right hand window.

Using this program along with StrPix3, you can quickly add new objects to your games as well as texture them however you want.

Have fun!
