I want to buy a new PC, if it is to run the level editor what OS's or graphics cards should I avoid?

morning Col.......... apparently the editor will not run in windows 2k so avoid that.
Obviously dont go for a machine with a Voodoo card in it..... lol
the editor manual does mention some incompatibility with GeForce GTS card but only minor.....
The card I am using it is the NVidia riva TNT2 m64 32Mb and that runs my montser fine....know what I mean?

I think this is now the card you will get as standard in most new machines .... unless you are talking serious money.... LOL

Col, stay away from Win 2000. That is an NT based system and will not run a whole **** of a lot of games.

I use both the GEForce 2 32 meg and have a Nividia TNT 32 meg as back up and both run TR and the editor ok.

Hey Colin I just read this morning that Intel is gonna relese there 2ghz pentium 4 in the third quarter this year.I dont know if that will effect your decision at all.Ive also heard that some folks have had problems with Windows ME.I use 98 second edition and havent had any problems at all.Well good luck!

I have a voodoo4 card and the level editor works fine, why did you think its bad?

Yeah, I have a voodoo 3 myself but is there something that I dont know about its compatability yet, because of right now I have not had any problems??????????
