Just inspiration I guess It has nothing to do with skill, because anyone can learn how to do it. You just need a good idea and be persistant------------------ Custom TR levels, textures and other TR goodies on www.driber.cjb.net IP: Logged |

Hust try not to compare yourself to anyone but yourself. And don't feel depressed, just download "The Lost Temples Of Egypt", and you'll understand how I used to really really really suck, and I still DO kinda' suck, but it's taken me nearly five monthes to get good at it, so you really are only normal if you suck at first. Besides, I'm on the level editor like, 12 hours a day, literally! Plus, you have to stop and think about what would be the coolest level ever, and then MAKE it! Of course, you should always ask for help on the forums like I do.------------------ Take the blue pill, and you wake up in your bed, and believe what ever you want to believe. Take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you just how deep the rabbithole goes.---Morpheus IP: Logged |

I simply love TR.... I was looking forward for this editor, I always longed for it.... now it is simply a dream came reality.... I have so many ideas, so many landscapes I'd like to realize.... and I'd like "fix" all what I disliked in TR4.... and take TR to its greatest splendour.... well it is a hope, surely eheheheh ------------------ | |--->> psiko <<---| | IP: Logged |

Just a suggestion: Play a level you really like. As you play, ask yourself what exactly about it that you liked... was it the rooms, being outside, the variety of scenery, the lights, the puzzles... keep asking...As you answer your own questions, you will find your levels becoming more interesting. As you get more ideas, you will probably start asking questions like "how do i do that"? Keep trying! Happy Raiding!! ------------------ How can I be dead already? IP: Logged | |
