If you want to do this: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/terry777/dive.gif

Then Download Tower Bridge Incident from here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/terry777/index.htm

I have played this level as well and the dive from the top really got the adrenalin flowing.

Great.

I guess she talks about somersaulting on the way down when diving, just swan dive and then hit the roll key - I have not played Tower Bridge yet, does it give you more than 3 somersaults before you hit the water?

HAPPY RAIDING!

Yeap, Lara can flip 3 times before hitting the River Thames, which is, one may say, very clean and clear... Especially next to a sewage pipe.
Lara should get a medical check after swimming in such waters!

JB

PS to Driber Did you know that Lara can also slide on the floor after a fast run?

Inidently chaps, the reason for the clear water in this level is because it is suppose to be a purpose built SAS training ground. besides, I didn't want the Environment agency on my back now did I.......

Dhama, good level.
But there are a couple pieces of constructive criticism I have to say

1. Where's the flyby? I was really hoping for a flyby in this level

2. Unfortunately your level suffered from the four B's
Beautiful Big But Boring. I felt that more puzzles and enemies were needed.

Otherwise, I really like it

After looking at all the shortcomings, I am attempting to re-create Tower Bridge from scratch now that I have more experience with the editor. This way it will be more of a level and less as a swan dive although I still hope to be able to do that. With everything in mind, I can see this new level taking some time to complete...so wish me luck......

I do wish you luck and I'm looking forward to playing the updated version... But do you really have to start from scratch? I suppose you can just re-use the one you have and improve the atmosphere with lights, fly-bys, music, baddies...
By the way, I found two little "mistakes" in the gameplay:
-you don't need to go all the way up the towers to reach the motorcycle. Jumping in a certain manner from the bridge where the red bus stands to the other side of the Thames can lead to land on the motorcycle side with no damages (avoid fires and stuff) thus shortening the level by 10.
-If you managed to reach the roof, you don't need to swing from rope to rope to reach the door that opened when you destroyed the swinging ball (with nasty bugs...). You can reach the opening by jumping from the iron bars above it...
Well, I know. This is not sensational news but might be helpful...
Good luck again
JB

Hi everyone!
I´m G.Croft, came here from tombraiders.com.
I think this was a fun level, although I was a little surprised when I just had started playing I climbed the first "tower" came to the motorcycle jumped the gap - and the level finished!!
Well I started over again and did it the way you´re supposed to and got up on top for the dive - yahoooo!!!!

I don't quite know what people were expecting with Tower Bridge but is was always just an experiment to see if it were possible to create the bridge. When it appeared to be working, I just added a little bit of gameplay and a swan dive from the top to make it a little bit more playable.
Also I am creating a new Tower bridge level from scratch so that I can incorporate more puzzles and make it a 2 or 3 level game.
If anyone has any ideas for such puzzles, please let me know cos ideas are always appreciated.

I think I am going to rethink my strategy.....The new Tower bridge has already taken up 208 rooms and there is only a third of it so far, look......
