I've been reading and rereading the manual that comes with the TRE. But its not sinking in. IF I download both the New and Revised Wads won't they cancel one or the other out when I place them in the Wads file. And how exactly do I make my own wads file? I feel like Im reading a foreign language. I'll keep hacking away at it but if anyone and jump start my Brain Pan Id apprieciate it.

the new wads are wads that aren't on the level editor cd
the revised wads are NEW VERSIONS of wads that are on the level editor cd (the versions on the cd are missing some animations)
you can make your own custom wads with TRwest
download it at http://www.jps.net/mikejj/trwest/

yes, the new and revised wads go in the WAD's folder (figures), but what do you mean by "after making a level?"

no you got it. youll use the level converter, (Tom2PC.exe). it converts the tom, (a wad output from room editor), into a .tr4 (a playable level).
also you should do this often as you build. save under diferent file names and test often.
-have fun
