refer to pages 71-72 in the manual.... bacically to create a flip-map, click on the "F" button in the bar above "select room", this will create a copy of the room you are working in and the background in the 3D view will turn black...... make any changes you want in the new flip room. there are limits on what objects you can put into a flip room but you can change water status, opacities etc. with no worries. you can also place an object in the flip room and have it trigger in the flip room..... to switch between the normal room and the flip room, click on the "flip-map" button in the select room column.you can trigger a flip map in many ways, same as most things in the game.... switch pickup, key etc..... One thing to remeber though.... NUMBER YOUR FLIPPED ROOMS..... obviously, use the same number in the trigger. If you want several rooms to flip at the same time just give them all the same number as you will have problems if you try stacking flipmap triggers...... good luck. ------------------ I WAS PRESSING THE DARN WALK BUTTON !! One little bug I noticed is that when you go to set a trigger type the type flipmap doesn't always appear, usualy the menu starts with flipon as the first option if this is the case scroll up to select flipmap. You can't put animated objects onto a flipped room, this includes moveable blocks and switches, they have to exist in the original room. 1. Select the room which you want to flip. 2. Click the small "f" button in room edit section. The background of editor window will go black. 3. Do the changes. 4. Select the square you want the flipmap to be triggered on. 5. In the trigger properties window, set the trigger to flipmap and in the field which is now supposed to show a zero inside, type the number of the room which you prepared to flip. That's all, although sometimes flipmap just doesn't work, kepp trying.Good luck IP: Logged |
