Topic: Warning! Editor CD!!!

After Aqua Stylish`s Editor CD exploded in her drive I went to back mine up. Only to find it is cracked and won`t read anymore!!! I`ve only used it three times f`gawdsakes! I`m gonna post it to Eidos and complain.So check your copies folks it looks like a dodgy CD has been used for the editor as this has happened to others. I scanned it in. This is after three installations and the rest of the time it has been in it`s box. I mean...c`mon!! ------------------

Thats really strange. Ive used my CD at least 10 times already, and Its still as good as new.

Will that's how mine looked but it had about 5 or 6 cracks so it was like a time bomb just waiting to go off, and it did! And because of the cracks it wouldn't install fully so I had to always install without audio which is a bummer!Also I wouldn't keep them in the thin Chronicles box that it comes in because with all the manuals and booklets the CD presses up against the lumpy plastic thing that holds the Chronicles CD and that is probably why it cracks! Yeah you could be right there Sash. I`m going to print off this thread and post it to Eidos along with the CD. Bring back the big old boxes instead of these DVD type things!! ------------------

Yep, there is something wrong! Mine is completely shattered after using it twice! It cracked in the drive and the cracks got bigger and I can't use the CD anymore!IP: Logged |

I can't believe you poor guys, at least I used mine about 60-70 times before the piece of rubbish went toe up, but it cracking after 2 or 3 times well that's just infuriating!IP: Logged |

I've used mine as a coaster, a frisbee, and once under the leg of a wobly chair... oh now, wait.. that WAS a coaster...
Mine's fine so far; I've never heard of this before. Is it common with CD's? Are all of these faulty CD's in the UK??------------------

No Sash (Aqua) is an Aussie. I`ve NEVER had this happen to any other CD. I mean I`ve used the original TR CD millions of times and this thrice and it cracks!!!!!!!------------------

Well back it up if you can and keep it in a separate jewel case. Before it goes...CRACK!!! and is totally goosed!

No I don`t think so as many have had the same happen. Take it back to the shop? Like after 6 months???? Aint gonna happen! But I am posting it back to Eidos. Luckily I backed it up a while ago and lent it to a pal so I`ve asked for it back!! ------------------

The same thing happend to me, I took my CD back to the store and they replaced it.------------------

wow never heard of a cd cracking from just using it or even exploding......most of mine break cause i step on them lol------------------
