Some of you may know me as the guy who was doing the tutorials over at the tombraiderchronicles / trchronicles web site. The “Movable Box” tutorial, etc. Well, I’m no longer supporting that site.I was almost ready to release a whole new large section for the site, however, now that I no longer support them, I still have the entire tutorial. There’s literally months of work that went into what was to be a huge section of his web site. The content is more than you’ll find on most web sites! It’s all about designing Lara’s outfits. Everything from the “how to” to all the necessary tools to do it. There’s 5 complete tutorials, even just one of which is 95,000 characters in length. There’s all kinds of maps and indexes and images that completely show each and every section on Lara and where it’s mapped to as well as tons of other stuff. This was going to be a “mega” release. The tutorials include... >> Beginners Guide to Outfits >> Creating Lara Outfits >> Converting Outfits to Starter Format >> Adding Outfits to Your Levels >> Creating Outfits - Advanced Techniques I know from visiting the forum that there’s a lot of you working designing outfits for Lara. I was going to release a new system in these tutorials that enables you to create outfits using the smallest file size possible, and it also enables you to use any outfit in any level, including the outfits that you may already have. I spent part of the day yesterday looking at various sites where I might post this stuff, but I haven’t found one that’s really geared to do it. What I may do tomorrow (Monday) is check into reactivating a domain that I had a while back an putting it all there for anyone and everyone to access. What I want to know is how many of you would like to have this information? If you have a better solution than my creating a quick web site to hold this stuff, let me know. My email address is available by clicking the “envelope” icon above. Send me your email address and I'll notify you later where it will all be available at. I'll also post the info here. If you have comments or suggestions that others my want to hear, please reply to this post and share your ideas with everyone. Don't hesitate to reply to this. It'll help keep it up where everyone can have the opportunity to read it. Thanks, DaleR [This message has been edited by DaleR (edited 05-20-2001).] IP: Logged |

How large is the whole thing? Also, I just recently started a project to archive all the object from all TR4 level wads and we need more members in the team to get the job done, so if you're up to this project, witch will benefit all of us level builders, let me know!

UPDATE...Yesterday I activated my old domain and I'm currently working as hard as I can to get something put together so that everyone can download this information. As soon as I have it where you can download things, I'll be back to post the URL to it. Shouldn't be too long now... IP: Logged |

Sorry if I'm a bit late in getting back to your email. I'm putting together the stuff you asked for as well as trying to get my domain up and working so that people can access the other things they've been waiting for.Realizing that you're getting quite a few volunteers, I'll also try and give any suggestions that come from experience before you get too far along. Expect to find something in your mail a little later today.
