Just thought I would create a new Award (yes - yet another one) to be given to the busy level reviewers for my site. The first three below have just been mailed to Sash, Torry and Henk. If you want to get one, too, just stop by my site and send your reviews in ------------------ HAPPY RAIDING! Michael. [This message has been edited by Michael P (edited 05-20-2001).] IP: Logged |

Mike, thank you so much but can you believe it has taken me 26 years to win an award! TrueRaider, yes definitely you can, some of the levels have 5 or 6 reviews so bring 'em on! Torry, so eventually we did find a level we both like but hey sorry for bumping 5 Artefacts out of top place (nothing personal ), I think it's a good thing though that we have quite different tastes, I love difficult levels and I'm not so fond of the ones using the city WAD and you like the city WAD ones and aren't as fond of the really difficult levels, it gives a more balanced view of things that way IP: Logged |

Neat thing... Michael P has a "hot" list. He has requested that a level have more than one review (three, if memory serves) for it to qualify. This is to cut down on the skew of a single reviewer. Great Ideas keep coming...Keep up the good work, Michael! Happy Raiding! -MichaelB ------------------ How can I be dead already? IP: Logged |

Hey Aqua, we all have our different view on things and so do the TR gamers out there. We at least accomplish a more balanced view of a level with our own, differing insights.I must admit to NOT enjoying those levels that have me causing serious injury to the cat for just being in the same room with me as I vent my frustrations on another one of those "rubic cube" levels, grrrrrrr. I think any real stumper of a level should have a walkthrough included. Hear that all you level designers from **** ?? and this brings me to W Gell and his verschlugginer timed doors................(LOL) IP: Logged |

@True Raider, yes, yes, please - to rate a level that has already been reviewed just click at the top of the page where it says 'Click here to rate a Level...'@Will tommy tomb raider Smith, LOL - waiting for your reviews to come in @Torry, the cheque is where it always is - in the mail (which I have a feeling will never arrive at your place ) @Sash, now there's a woman who gives away her age easily , but I am told that only starts becoming an issue as of 30. @Henk, yes, go for it - Silver award as of 50 reviews!! @Will, love your timed doors (tried to reach your mastery with one in my Blue Sphere level). And by the way, are you playing levels or only creating? Would love to see a review from you coming my way Thanks for all of your support!!

Michael, At the moment I`m only creating. With a full time job, a wife and a three year old running about the place I`m amazed I get anything done at all. All my PC time is taken up with level editing or music. Each time I finish a level I mean to play some but then I get an idea and I`m off again. Also I have my walkthroughs to write. I`m currently doing sketches for a custom level and working on an idea for a double TOM file so that`s three levels I`m working on!!! There just isn`t enough hours in the day mate!Once I`ve done these next three projects I`m seriously considering calling it a day with the editor. Don`t cry!! But then I`ll can play and will certainly review some levels for you. Just keep your site going OK? The others seem to be lagging behind or have given up. Yours is the best levels site out there! ------------------

Hey Will, I was just teasing you The community most certainly needs you as a level creator, so I am very much looking forward to your upcoming three projects. And thanks for the compliment. My site will be up and running as long as 1. Sash has played and reviewed all levels 2. I have played and reviewed all levels 3. others keep on visiting it and send as many reviews in as possible So - it is going to be still a while, I guess ------------------ HAPPY RAIDING! Michael. Mikey, you know I'll be there for the long run and nothing, not even exploding LE's, will stop me Will, yeah okay the day you stop making levels is the day I start, now there's a threat Mikey again, I don't know if you would class this as narcissism but I have my GOLD AWARD tiled as my wallpaper IP: Logged |

Seems the awards are really well received - Henk put it on his site, Torry as his sig and Sash even as a tiled wallpapper, wow!! I am so glad I created them......and Torry is approaching the Silver Award (50 reviews) with huge steps, TrueRaider seems to be out for getting Bronze soon...great stuff, folks, keep those reviews rolling in - only 41 (!) Levels without one still... ------------------ HAPPY RAIDING! Michael. IP: Logged |
