I've got a wad and want to make a was file out of it: can i do this with any programs about at the mo?IP: Logged |

You can use the Level Editor. Simply copy all of the files for another wad and replace the wad with the one you have. Open the editor load the wad (type *wad in the file box) then select the wad. Now create a tom file. Now the was file will contain the info for your new wad. Thnx, althougn i did get a litlle confused at the "change it to *.wad" bit, where do i do that, after the insert objects?IP: Logged |

Ok, first copy say the coastal wad, there are 9 files. Rename them all to your wads file name. delete the old wad and replace it with your wad. Now open the level editor. Select load objects. Now it has the file name box. Type in *wad and hit enter it will now display the wads and not the was files. Open your wad then output the wad as a tom. Now you have your updated was file.
