Does ANYONE know how to rip the outfits from tr2 to use in the editor? I mailed the creator of wadmerger but he hasn't responded...

Same reason you can't rip the outfits from a tr4 or level editor game, they exist only as part of the wad. If TRWest ever gives support for earlier TR games then you could feasibly copy the Lara object out of the WAD. Although have a look at this site and maybe you can create your own.
