I have 2 rooms, 8 clicks high, stacked. The top room has the entire floor as a door, so both rooms look like one in the game. Everything is fine.
Now I add another room, 16 clicks high. I put it next to the stacked rooms, and make an entire wall into a door. All 3 rooms should look like one room in the game. But the editor only made a door to the lower room. The top room is still blocked.
No problem! I go to the top room and make a door to the tall room. But the editor says it can't make the connection.
Anyone else run into this? Anyone know a way around it. I mean, besides splitting the tall room into 2 stacked rooms, and doubling the work I have to do.

A plant? I started building a map, and ran into this problem. I hope there's a way around it.
Wonder if it's a limitation of the editor, or the game engine itself?

I've a sneaky feeling someone will provide you with the answer shortly....

In the meantime, I've got a question for you. What do you think about people creating multiple identities on forums, stacking the forums with questions with the sole provision of answering them under another username ?

Hmmm....don't know. I can't get the same user name everywhere I go, and I have problems keeping my names straight. Why would anyone want multiple names everywhere they go? I'd go crazy trying to remember who I am.

I believe that you can only connect multiple rooms via the ceiling or floor and not via the walls.

your problem is a limitation of the LE
I've tried it myself, and you just can't make a horizontal door twice on the same wall

I think you'l have to make a room like the higher one of the original two, link it to the last room you made and link that to the highest individual room. Is this difficult to understand?
