Well, I've been screwing around with the level editor lately, going through the Adobe manual one page at a time in the hopes of teaching myself how to use it... and I've found two problems:1. If I run my PC screen at 800x600, it crops off the textures box on the right side of the editor. I didn't know this box existed until I put my screen at some absurd 1076xsomething and saw it. It also crops the bottom boxes (anything beneath the row of buttons with "Face Edit" and such) if it's in 800x600. Any help? I hate high resolutions, as it makes everything really small 2. Can I zoom in on levels I'm making? I mean, if I want to fine-tune a texture I'm mapping, I find it challenging to do while running at hi-res (the 3D rendering is really small). Can I zoom in? Thanks in advance. ------------------ Xenomrph Webmaster/Administrator: The Aliens Online Encyclopedia IP: Logged |

Absurd? 1024x768 is not absurd. I find it much more practical than 800x600. You can fit more icons on your desktop and see more of what you are doing. 800x600 is too big for me, and everything in 1280x1024 hurts my eyes terribly because it's so small. Once you get used to 1024x768 you'll probably find it more easy to work with.IP: Logged |

The manual says the level editor requires 1024x768 resolution. Must have skipped that part. Guess I'm lucky. I got a 19 inch monitor pretty cheap awhile back. Running at 1600x1200 and it still isn't uncomfortable to read. Guess it really depends on the quality of the monitor, not the size.IP: Logged |
