I have a prob, I am using the Alexandria wad and am trying to create a timed door. Now, I've put in -3 seconds in the timer box, then I press okay. I set the trigger down and test it in game, but when I trigger the door, it doesn't close after 3 seconds! In fact, it doesn't close at all! So, WHAT DO I DO?

Hi BRM, I perceive you're still at it As to the timed door problem: I haven’t heard an authoritative statement on this issue so far, but it seems that some doors are simply not susceptible to being timed. I’ve had the same trouble with DOOR_TYPE5 from city (the dark blue one that can also be opened with a crowbar). It opened alright, but with the greatest possible disregard to any data in the timer field, and wouldn’t ever close. Try another door, or import one with TRwest. IP: Logged |

You put a minus number in to delay the trigger happening, so 3 seconds later the door should open. As has been mentioned it doesn't always work with certain doors tho.Col. ------------------ Come and visit us for all manner of TRLE related goodies New this week The Lost Tomb of Kolobaine and City at Crocodile Lake Levels which both feature our EZ Installer, plus a Chat Room, the chance for trle webmasters to join the TRLE WebRing and the only site with WADFixer IP: Logged | |
