Two places to try.Firstly, double-click the volume icon in the sys tray and ensure the all the levels are set to medium. Then select (still in volume control), OPTIONS, PROPERTIES and click the RECORDING radio button which will bring up the volume settings for recording. Some boxes might not be ticked, but if you tick all of them, a longer window will appear with more level controls for all Windows recording devices. Secondly, go into Multi-Media (control panel) and then select the Audio tab and see what DEVICE your system is using as it's default recorder. On Creative sound cards, this should be set to SBLIVE WAVE DEVICE. Hope this helps. [This message has been edited by MissLara2U (edited 05-29-2001).] IP: Logged |

I know a bit about that. We will just say you are recording a new sound for Lara and pretend it does have something to do with TRLE. Most like your microphone or line in volume controls are set very low. if you have the speaker down by your clock double click that a line of speaker volumes will open up got to options then click on properties and then click recording make sure your microphone is clicked then click ok and there are the volume controls. Hope that helps. Woops I was a just a little to late MissLara snuck right past me. Hey another thing to try I found once I had plugged my micrphone in my speaker port and recorded very faint sounds til I figured out my problem--check to make sure your mic is correctly plugged in.
