I have TR2wad and I have TRwest. What do I need to do to get a wad from another game? I am trying to get the quadbike from TR3. I put in my TR3 CD and went to the data section and opened a level with the quad bike. What would I do from there to put it in a wad file?

I find TR2WAD too confusing, I usually rip th wad from the cd using TR2WAD, clcik the "SAVE WAD" button then swap stuff between wads with TRWEST. If you need more help than this, I will try but I'm not really sure how to do it myself.

hey bob i have your answer
first use tr2wad to load the quadchase level then save wad now open the level editor and load a tga file it doesn't matter which one you use then load the wad that you created with tr2wad ie. load objects place lara in the room then output the wad to one of your existing tom files then exit the editor and make the level after the level convertor is finished open trwest and click file then select load refrence file and drop down the file type box and select tr4 files then browse to the data folder of the level editor and select the level you just created the quadbike is the lara sixshooter anmi object load the wad that you want to edit and copy that object to the motorbike object
thats all there is to it
Have fun
PS. you can find the right object name in the level editor

This is what I did.
I put in the TR3 Disk

I opened TR2Wad

I opened quadchase.

I clicked on Vehicle extra. Then clicked save wad and saved it as Eaxtra.

I clicked on Quadbike and clicked save wad. I saved it as bike.

I opened up level editor and there was no was file.

Do have to save the files to a certain spot or does it matter.
