I can't be arsed to make these levels my self but I have often thought about it, made the first few rooms and gave up. Wouldn't it be cool if a modern city level was made!! A sort of explore every ally, shop, restaurant, street sort of thing. A massive city!! You could climb to the top of a tower block and look down on the city lights and stuff... I think it would be cool. Also someone should make a level where Lara goes on a jeep ride down twisting roads that go on forever. Y'know like those countryside roads on a sunny day, lots of hills that make your tummy jump... and there should be a level where Lara swims under the sea with an oxygen suit on (like TRC) except you can go faster and the sea is BIG and currented; and of course the famous Titanic level that was talked about and never made... * sad sigh *. Someone should make one of these... BIG HINT TO THE BRAINS WITH PATIENCE HERE!!

I wanna do a series of levels of similar sort. I'll start when I got some tools.

Dont worry La, they WERE good ideas but, TR is somewhat too limited, ya know, 20 block viewing distance, very limited room count, limited room area in editor...
But I think it could be done, with some certain flaws.

Lara, I think we are on the same page as far as what ideas we have for the game. We are both pretty tired of being couped up in tombs or stuck deep down in narrow canyons. We both want big open spaces "to drive around in" and also I have just a little idea of what the city level might could look like, really all I think we need are some custom widows, and doors, and street lights and just basic stuff like that. Things that make up a city, some trash cans and fire hydrants, and maybe even some road signs, what do you think?

I could make the objects in Autocad... if someone could texture them?

Lara - what WAD do you want to start with? Are you willing to texture objects in STRPIX3?

I always thought TR6 NG would be like the game you are describing, Lara... you run too fast!!!!

Anyhow, we can do everything with Strpix and TRWest.... we simply have to understand how the new collision feature works....
I am working on it.

Hey I have found a cool wad you can get "modern" objects from. I think it is joby1a on the TR4 CD.
