Thanks for the help with my problem (error message in Stpix3..'not integler ....'I tried your second tip (going to Control Panel etc...) but I still get the error message. Could you please explain how to re save in dxf as I was unsure just what you meant...I'm a bit slow.... Billy

Do you checked the layers names?, wich names did you used in your new DXF?

Also, are you using lastest (17-May-2001) strpix3 version?

What program do you use?
If Rhino3D, well, do as this (but other programs are similar):

1) edit the mesh (for help yourself to build, you can use every CAD object like a line, spline, etc.etc)

2) Search in the STRpix for the texture you want to use for this particular mesh, for example we agree you chosed texture number 234

3) Go back to Rhino and select Layer option.

4) create a new Layer called TEXTURE_234

5) Select the mesh you have just edited.

6) Click on object properties

7) Change the layer for that mesh as TEXTURE_234

8) Deselect all

9) Save

10) Click to select ALL THE MESHES

11) Copy and paste in another file

12) Select Layer option in this NEW file

13) delete ALL the undesiderable layer which do not contain meshes and all the layers different from this kind of name TEXTURE_XXXX
If you get a warming message while deleting them that there are some objects in the layer you are trying to delete, this means that something went wrong, so, do all from the beginning I mean reselecting meshes from the previus file, or try to understand what's wrong.

14) select one layer as the current layer (it does not matter which)

15) save as DXF

16) In the saving window, chose:

-meshes
-polylines
-3D faces
-release14
-check on "use simple entities" and leave this value:
0.05
10.0
1000000
0.0

**be AWARE, are you USING . (full stop) for decimal value instead of latin , (coma)?**

So, saved as DXF file, having only meshes in layers named like TEXTURE_XXXX, you can import it in the WAD with STRpix3.
Attention! you can use, if I remember well ONLY 200 or 250 polygons for every object you import! so, read the status bar... AND.... have you downloaded the latest version of STRpix? (they have always the same name but they've changed: and another one is arriving) cause with the earliest version this process can give some problem.....
