In my level I have several poles stacked on top of each other and they look fine in the editor but when I go in game to check things, the poles are invisible!! It happens every time I stack rooms and stack poles on top of each other. Why? I WANT A LARGE POLE!!!!!!!!!!! (don't take that the wrong way! he, he). IS IT POSSIBLE AT ALL?

When you stack the poles do you stack them all in one room or put a new one in each room?

I think this problem occurs when a pole protrudes from one room into another.
I had the same problem stacking a ladder from the library wad,i had to alter my stacked rooms so the ladders joined where the rooms joined, otherwise i had the invisibility thing.
I don't know if there's a proper way of doing this without having to resize your rooms ,maybe someone else knows a bit more.

Hey Emma P, I stack the poles in one room, on top of each other (the bottom room). If I try stacking them in the rooms above the editor automatically takes me to the bottom room anyway. Help! I'm totally stuck!

This is a real long shot but worth a try, I had the same problem, so what I did was, say you have 2 rooms stacked to make 1. Where you want the pole to be on the top room, add a floor tile. This should let you add the pole and then you can take the floor tile out afterwards. Give it a try, it's worth a shot.

Hi Lara, are you using the coastal wad? I wanted to use them but there are just invisible. I thougt it had something to do with the size of the project but it is in the wad. Maybe its in some other wads the same?

I'm using a custom wad and it includes the pole from "tut".

I'll try Emma's suggestion and get back to you...

Thanx.
