hey Michael I've only played with this a bit, due to a lack of time lately. but it seems the collision settings will only effect certain objects. I was trying to work out the settings for my motorbike, and after approaching this from several angles I decided to set 0 collision to each piece of the bike. (this unfortunately had no effect). I'll definitely play with this some more in the future, but I think if you start with a static object you may hay better success. my plan was to find an object that I could successfully set no collision to, then begin working outward from each axis at a time, to try and get a feel for how these settings work. wish I had some more helpful info for you , but maybe soon. Well i've got a bit of it to work... I had to spend time with it anyway (my wad's) to figure it all out... I was able to make objects solid this way! I'm not too sure how it works tho... But at least i'm getting there! heh------------------ Time is Forever... TR WAD's and More Here: http://members.tripod.com/tr_central/ IP: Logged |

see the bottom collision info file?I use 66434 (something like that) for doors from Tr3/2 888 for block size solids 600- 700 for half of that (I.e. pushables) Something smaller for thin objects. no idea what it means, but it works. It's the x,y,z area etc... Some static objects don't work but in that case you can use the EDIT OBJECT function for statics. MIRAI IP: Logged |
