Is there a way that i could just get rid of the wad from my prj like you someone e-mails you one or you download it, then you load it in the editor and it doenst load the wad and everything, cause if i could find a way to do that then i MIGHT be able to save my level

As far as I know think the only way to get rid of the wad is to delete it from the prj file with an advanced editor with HEX capabilities.

I'm sorry it's a big trouble

I'm not sure about getting rid of the wad from editor but I know that if you reinstall the editor then it resets the script and gets rid of them from the game. I have had to reinstall the editor a couple of times because a level that I downloaded F**cked up the game, and your level will still be there in editor when you reinstall, I promise. You will just have to output the wads again and rebuild it in the level converter. Oh, and ofcourse any script changes that you made. But it's a small price to pay to save your project.

that question is a bit confusing, but here's a go:

if you want to load the objects when you open a downloaded project, look at the error message you get and browse to the wad

if you want to delete the objects from a project, rename the wad, load the project and keep clicking on cancel
afterwards, save the project and the wad will be deleted from the PRJ file

Go ahead and email me the project. I'll try to load it.
I've started to look at the format of the PRJ file. Maybe I can do some more of that and make a utility to fix broken PRJ files.

you can email only the PRJ even to me, telling me the name of the wad and of the TGA you have used (even custom, it does not matter, then you'll fix it), and the position of both in you hard disk. Or it won't work in any case.

sorry to say this, but ........... I think once you get the "evil unknown object" error, the .PRJ is pretty much screwed.....

I hope you have a previous save.......
