I'm trying to create a flip map. I want it to happen when I push a block onto a certain square. I have set a trigger square to Flip on and heavy and put the number 1 in the box. Then clicked the little F button in the editor and typed 1 next to that. But when I go to play the flip doesn't happen. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated as I have never used flip maps before.
Cheers Em xx

k, emm, you need to place the trigger for the flipmap by going the trigger window and going to the very top and selecting FLIPMAP then next to it typw the number 1, then below it go to heavy and place it

Emma....... firstly, select the room you want to make changes in(the one you want to flip).... click on the f button and the background will now go black and you will have a copy of the original room. clicking on "flipmap" in the select room menu will now switch between the 2 rooms. Now make whatever changes you want in the flip room. whilst in either of the 2 rooms you can enter a number next to the "f" button if you wish. Now to trigger it as you are hoping.... in the room with the push object, on the square where it will end up, highlight it and hit the purple trigger button. with the squre still highlighted (and a green border in the 2-d map) click on the text bar next to the trigger button. click on menu and change the object field to "flipmap" (you may have to scroll up), change the trigger field to "heavy" and if you assigned a number to the flipmap, enter that number in the field next to the one you changed to "flipmap" making sure you hit return. Your trigger and flip should now be set. If you are trying to flip more than one room at the same time, GIVE THEM BOTH THE SAME NUMBER........... good luck!
