Tomb Raider Custom Levels will be closing.I am starting a new job on the 9th of July and it involves quite a lot of travel and I will no longer be able to devote the time to the website. Can I ask that all of our authors make arrangements to have their levels hosted elsewhere, and that all webmasters who link to our content, either store the files on their own webspace or find another link. Our BBS and Chat Room will remain open and any webmasters wishing to link to them should use

That's a real shame but can't be avoided I suppose. Your website has been brilliant and will be a great loss to the level editing community. Good luck for your new job!------------------

Colin, as soon as I read the first line of your post I just went cold, I am so glad for you that you have gotten yourself a new job, by the way GOOD LUCK, but I have to say I am quite sad in the same breath.I am just glad I will be able to keep using the BBS as it has become a source of help for myself as well as a great way of meeting new people and helping when I can.....thanx for the recognition in your post but it really wasn't necessary, it's a pleasure doing what I do! Howdy ol' pardners...
Did'nt want you to go without a word from this ol' cowboy. Thanks for the help, encouragement,advice.....with my level editing. I guess all of us have to make changes once in a while and those that are old enough to have a mortgage know that bills have to be met. Still this ol' cowboy will miss you and what you did for the TR enthusiasts. I have though about packing it in myself on the grounds of sheer frustration. I don't want simply to run around caverns any more, unfortunately, TRLE wont allow for new input (ie. new objects). I thought I'd cracked it but I have'nt. I can't contribute anything new so I to could be moving on. The only difference amigo is YOU will be missed, I will not! All the best BillyIP: Logged |

What a shame to lose a great site, you,ve done a great job with it ,and i'm sure everyone on the forum will miss it as much as i will.Best of luck in your new job and whatever else you do in the future. HiI would also like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last 6 months. Col and I never dreamt that the site would be the success it has been when we started it last December. I would like to thank everyone who has submitted levels, as without them there would be no site. On a personal note, I would like to especially thank Col who over the past few months has put a lot of effort and time into keeping the site updated, cheers mate. As Col said we are not going to disappear totally (you don't get rid of us that easily) you will still be able to find us in our chatroom. Carry on creating. Raidernut IP: Logged |

I kinda saw this coming, but hey, it was great while it lasted. I would like to thank you for giving so much to the TRLE community, without Colin and Mike I dont think that things would have been quite the same when it comes to the developement of custom levels....... Without them, I certainly would not have posted levels and I think others here might be the same. These guys were the first to offer help and have made the community what it is today.... All I can say is thanks for taking the time to pass on to others something that we all enjoy!!You will be missed, the best allways will be..... but lets face it, you dont get paid for it, so wishing you the best of luck in your new job. Aww...damnWell at least the chat is still going.. I think we should all take some time to reflect on this sad occasion, but to thank the two guys who actually first coined the phrase "Custom Level".

Well, I wish you all the best of luck in your new job, Col. Even though I was fairly new to the whole tomb raider community, your site was the best that I saw.
