I'm trying to make a flip effect play a flooding sound when triggered. I've put a trigger for it, and put 2 in the box next to the flip effect like it says in the manaul. But it doesn't do anything at all. I've definately triggered it correctly because I've put it on a square with loads of other triggers that are activated by a puzzle, and they all work fine. Also you know when you put a sound into the room, such as a water loop. Is there any way of only hearing it at a certain time, (without using a flip map) because I don't want the water to be heard until the waterfall is triggered. Any ideas?
Thanx Em xxx

I know it's flip effect! That's what I said! But I know that you could add a sound by creating a flipped room with a sound in it so that when the room is triggered to flip it plays the flooding effect. But I can't flip my room as I have animated objects in it. But anyway that's not the point! I need to know how to get the flip effect to work!

The manual is wrong about flip effects.
except for fog colour.

I can't find any info on them elsewhere.

Although make sure the flood sound
is in your actual wad sound file
and activated.

one way around it is to set up a water sound loop in a flipmap room.
Switch it on, the flood sound starts.

Reduce it's sound radius in the sound script and then it isn't annoying.
As it goes on forever.

I can't create a flip map room becuase you can't flip a room with animated objects in them. (well you can but the objects won't show up.) But I have a small waterfall in my room that fills up a room below. (using a flip map for the underneath room) and I want there to be a noise when the waterfall is triggered. (I'm using the kanak waterfall and those stautes)
