Whoops, sorry you gotta be registered to read that......

Here it is:

I don't know why it's doing this, it worked fine yesterday!!!
All i've done is add a few pushpull doors into the level, and when i try to play it, it quits to the desktop! I don't even SEE the level, i just pick it from the main menu, and it quits! I've tried deleting the doors, but it still does it!!!

HELP

Have you set a load camera? Cause if you haven't then it will crash back to desktop!

This it what I would do:

Firstly check Emma's idea.
2. Load in a previous save and output/convert and try that one in game.
3. Have you put Lara back into the level (if you may have taken her out)
4. If you have added a lot of shadows/light into a room that could cause a crash, but only at the point of entering the room.
5. If all else fails, try reinstalling the editor.

I know some of these are simple, and I don't take you for an idiot Neil, but even I have done some of the above myself. Hope it helps anyway.

reboot your computer and check your script files.
If they're incorrect the system will stop.

Is there any chance you started too many animations on the square where Lara starts?

Even if you haven't hit the object limit, the number of simultaneous animations drops. If you start one too many .... BOOM!

Just learned this one recently....
