does anyone know how to put pop songs in levels? i want to put a song in by jennifer lopez whose album i bought yeasterday, but i dont know how to do it, can anyone help? cheers!

I think there may be copyright problems, as the manual says 'Your levels cannot contain any illegal, trademarked, or copyright materials unless you obtain written consent of the trademark or copyright holders".

You just have to convert it to *.wav and give it a number like the musics from the level editor, but, as dhama says, there are problems with copyright. But who cares? Everyone copys games for consoles and PC's, music cd's, and nobody cares about it(well, not anybody).

But if you visit Elpaso's site under the Editor Help section there is a handy page all about converting mp3's into the right format wav file for use with the LE.

Just warn us first if your level is gonna have Jennifer Lopez in it...

thanks colin i am now going to add steps, hearsay, atomic kitten, 911 and westlife, ONLY JOKING! he he, no what im using it for is a laras home level, its gonna be a song that you have to push a button to play it, like a cd player in the house!
