Topic: Climbable movable block?

Do you know where to find one?As we know Lara can not climb onto the movable block. That one from the tomb raider chronicles site. But she did it in the past and we miss it! I´ve been experimenting with some of the Tomb Raider II levels. The push pull animation is different, when pulling she grabs it from the bottom. When she runs to it she stops, as with a normal wall or block (she does not keep running in place), so the block is better to hide in walls. And SHE CLIMBS ON IT, which is very important for different puzzles. So, if any one knows where the block can be found, or if someone is working on it, please let me know. THANKS A LOT! IP: Logged |

Well, at my site, there is a solution to making the block climable. You'll just have to visit there. It might not be what you're looking for though. I hope that helped.

Yeah, I´ve seen your site before.

What the heck is going on? - The climbable moveable block is crucial to a level I've been working on. I have been trying to make it work in various ways.
I like your idea of ripping TR 2.
Do you remember in TR 1 when lara wakes up in Natlas Mines with no guns or equipment? Or in Thor's room with the big hammer - there was a block that she had to push against the wall in order to het up to the higher level ledge??? I will continue to work on this problem and would be happy to share any positive results on this forum...

I don't believe it is possible. Have you noticed how in TR1-3 when she encountered an object (except for a door), she would stop in her tracks? Well, in TR4-5 she doesn't do that. She runs in place. Therefore, it is impossible for her to climb up onto an object.------------------

Actually, I take that back. Ya know the Raising_Blocks? She can climb on those... hmm... now if only they could do that to movable blocks.------------------
