Have you got a Tomb Raider web site? Are you hosted on GeoCities or Tripod? Do you want better hosting? Why yes, we can do that thanks to our friends at GameSpy.CroftsGate is looking for you! Got a killer website which you need hosting for? We are constantly looking for new sites to add to our expanding hosted site list. We're looking for top-quality Tomb Raider websites to join our hosted sites and expand our coverage. If you have an already established site, or even if you don't, drop us a line at tombraider@3dactionplanet.com and talk to us. Here's what you'll be passing up if you don't let us know about your site: * Unlimited FTP Space * Mail Accounts & Mailing Lists * Bandwidth * Forums & Chat Support * ASP, SQL, CGI, & Perl Support * Secure Transaction Servers * Intranet & Tech Support * Coverage across the GameSpy Network Ready to kick some arse? Drop us a line! Send mail to tombraider@3DActionPlanet.com. Include your name, e-mail address, and current URL for your site. If requested, you may send your site in its entirety as a .zip file; but please do not do so unless asked. We rarely accept proposals for sites that don't exist yet - set up an account at Geocities or some other provider and start coding pages so that we have something to look at before dropping us a note. Visit www.croftsgate.co.uk for further details on our hosting service and for faqs that will answer all of your questions. We're waiting to hear from you! There are some rules that need to be followed. Everything is on the web site in the hosting faq section.Mainly you will be required to run an ad and "hosted by crofts gate" logo on every page of your site. We dont allow any illegal or offensive material, that includes nude raider. We dont ask for much in return for our services. visit www.croftsgate.co.uk to access the information pages. Hey Sage there will come a day when your site will be gone. It happened to Raider of Tombs, Pwhirl and me and one day it will happen to you. It's because Tripod are losers, you spend months making a site and then they press a button and it's all gone!! Argh!! Anyway be prepared cos it will happen. When you do get took off I suggest: get a really large object and through it @ someone / something!! he he he! It helps!! Then look for somewhere new and send Tripod a nasty e-mail... I better shut up now before they ban this thread. IP: Logged |

Hey, Lara Severi! I had a person come asking for outfit templates, so, not wanting to let him down I reloaded my old site. While nothing there is new, just thought I'd chip in that Tripod didn't get the best of me! (sorry CroftsGate, while I appreciate the offer, my site doesn't really have anything to offer anymore so it wouldn't really matter if it had more security from your hosting)feel like reminiscing? visit http://TRLibrary.tripod.com Best Wishes, Raider IP: Logged |

Sounds like my answer! I'll check it out. @ Raider of Tombs: Though we've never met, good to see you back! I searched for months trying to get your templates to no avail. Anxiously awaiting your latest creations!

Sorry folks. It seems that one of the moderators thinks that you guys dont deserve free web space. My other posts have been closed in the other forums devoted to tomb raider by this particular moderator. Check them out. If you disagree and think that free web space is a good idea then email him letting him know. Its a shame that you guys miss out. Anyway who really cares what Eidos and their forum moderators think. I'm opening my own forums in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know what happens but I guess that would be advertising again. Remember you arent allowed to put a link to your site in your posts because its advertising. So STOP it now otherwise you'll meet the fate I have. yeah, but inline banners sucks, it will screw up our pagesnow if we only have to deal with a pop-up, it's a whole different story... ------------------ Tomb Raider - Ancient Legends levels (2), walkthroughs, tutorials, wallpapers and other TR goodies on driber.cjb.net !!! new: the full release of the OBJECTS ARCHIVE is out !!! I'm afraid we cant bend the rules on this issue. Pop ups tend to be annoying and most users will click the close button as soon as they appear. The banners arent to intrusive. They are normally links to other gamming sites although on some occasions I have had a commerical banner. IP: Logged |

yes, inline banners DO suck! you may can get away with it when you have just one page or something, but when you use frames (and who doesn't these days), it will totally screw up your designlook at the top from on my site, if there's a banner above it, you won't see the bar! ------------------ Tomb Raider - Ancient Legends levels (2), walkthroughs, tutorials, wallpapers and other TR goodies on driber.cjb.net !!! new: the full release of the OBJECTS ARCHIVE is out !!!
