I want like 5 different waterfalls for my level. Since you can only have three would it mess up the game if I made the waterfall a animating object?

I'm not sure I know what you're getting at?

Who said there was a limit of 3 waterfalls. Do you mean the ones from Ankor Wat which are already animating objects? If so, three probably isn't a hard limit, but you are likely to run out of animation memory without severely limiting the number of objects and textures.

I made waterfalls using the moving water textures (coastal) in an area 5 rooms tall. Each "door" was painted with the texture and you can see them all at the same time (they're all the same fall). You might try mixing "flat" texture waterfalls with the animated one.
