The manual that came with Tomb Raider Level Editor is no help because it's always talking about the tutorial level which is constantly confusing me.

How do I create a trigger where you pick up an item and some double doors open?

here's the step by step instructions to make a pickup trigger open a door:
1. place the pickup object(example:medipak)whereever you want it

2. click on the object to make it red, and then click the floor grid under it ***DO THIS IN THE MAIN WINDOW, NOT THE EDITOR'S 2D WINDOW!!****

3. once you have the square under the pickup object highlighted, click the purple trigger button, then click the text next to the purple button, and choose "pickup" as the trigger type!

3. now, click the door you want the thing to open, and then come back to the pickup object, click the square under the pickup object to make it red, and now click the purple trigger button

and that's alll!!!!!!

Fraid not...... you have to enter 64 in the OCB of the object if you want it to activate the door(s) when picked up.
This number changes to 68 if the pickup is on a pedestal and 66 if the item requires the crowbar to remove it from a wall.
