Topic: Do I need more wads?

I coaanot get downloaded custom levels to work. I was jhust thinking, is this because i haven't downloaded eidos' revised wads?For example i downloaded dino jungle, which uses the costal wad, but when converting, it just crashed.

The "official" place is at eidos.com; follow the download links to the tr5/othermedia area. GOOD LUCK!
myself and a few others gave up trying to download from there after about a week of trying.A better location is...http://www.3dactionplanet.com/games2/157.shtml

I agree that the speed is a problem on Eidos' servers - but that's what you from running Windows 2000 servers.
However, with a decent download manager that's no prob ... I'm downloading the revised WADs as I write this - with 3 threads running simultaneously, I'm getting the files down the pipe at 95-100% percent of my maximum line speed. For download managers, I can highly recommend Reget ( www.reget.com ). It comes in a free version which has all the functionality you'll ever need. Stay away from things like Go!Zilla and GetRight - although they will get the job done, they spy on everything you do and they cannot operate at max. line speed. ------------------

ok, i know where to download them, thanks.But can someone please tell me if they are neccery to play levels like dino jungle which i am dying to play.
