I have just killed two Egyptians and acquired two scarabs. Everytime I jump to the lower level and go toward the dark area I am returned to my last save. What gives? Should I just go to the last game or is there some way that I should get there automatically?

Hi, this is the end of the level. If i am correct you start in city of dead now. These levels are actually not for playing but to see how things are setup for the level-editor.
