Topic: The ONLY way to make rain (Note: It ain't nice, and it probably won't be pretty)

1. Build a fully textured, and sculpted room.
2. Create a series of animated rain textures.
3. Split the room into smaller rooms 1 by x.
4. connect the rooms with doors.
5. Toggle opacity two and double sided for the doors.
6. Apply rain textures to doors.
7. Voila!(Note: This is a theory, I have not tested it.) ------------------

My level? The textures are all from previous TR games. Did those pics show up for you? Did you see that picture of the man in the library?------------------

You can't split rooms forever, and can't use all of those rooms only to create something so "untrue" in a little room. Only to have rain? and where is it the game I'd like to play?..... all gone away for all those rooms....well rain is not so important finally.... if you need rain so much, simply build a level where rain is JUST stopped..... with some of wet textures and some of little rooms with not deep water, where you can still run on. I think it is more suggestive... ------------------

Cool idea. I think to make weather is one of the butons under the 2d view window maybe the NL Button. But dammed EIDOS switched it off!!IP: Logged |

No, NL is not the rain button!
rain is includet in the EXE.dat. its a flag, who effects all areas with the outside flag on.
