for your problem with the new Lara there is not the solution right now. The problem for the hair is that those meshes do like the lara joints, and when you change the meshes for the head they do not recognize anymore what to link (I think all the points are numbered for the program and so, changing the polygons you change even the order of numbers). In this way her hair links to the vertexs of head meshes it prefers.... this is what happens even with the lara skin joints, I think. I am rebuildind Lara for months, so I did it many times and helped many people to do their one.And I think that the problem for the light is even a problem given by the skin joints, in particular by the parts of the arms and the legs, as it started to me only after I changed them. And sadly this problem is taken to the enemies too. Infact even they start to not be lightned anymore. The only solution is to avoid too dark and too lightned places, and then to NOT give flares in the level.... hope this helps  ------------------
