I've run into the same problem, here's whatcha do to fix it... and this "should" work in all the wads, though I've had some problems with Lara's outfits going really really dark...Get Starter.Wad from Lara's Closet... use this as a template for outfits. Follow the directions deleting door1 and three other dependant "objects." Then, run WadMerger 3.4 beta from that site and "fix dependancies." What this does is strip out the probs with having to have door1 etc when you add Lara to another wad. When this is done, you'll have a good bare bones Starter.wad to edit Lara's outfit, then you can simply use trwest, select the entire wad, and "replace objects." This brings the new outfit to your existing wad. There's a rather lengthy tutorial that explains the process a whole lot better than I am here, but at least you get the jist of it, yet once you know what you're doing, it takes all of 2 minutes to change outfits in the wad you're working on. I've used newcity.wad as my base wad without any problems although it may work easily enough with other ones too... I've not tried them all. Side note: if you're into outfit design... I cannot reccomend the Lara's Closet website enough. Download Laras Closet Toolkit for *extensive* texture mapping of all 250+ "faces" of Lara's object mesh in relation to the tga file in Starter.wad. You won't believe how easy it is to make outfits. Enjoy!

Or, if you ectract everything you can from the WAD, then get Wadmerger and use "fix animdispatches". Then you can get rid of all the other stuff IP: Logged |

I had some trouble with that myself... Wadmerger would come up with an error and crash :/IP: Logged |
