Argh!
I need some inspiration!
Can someone reccommend a good outdoors type level (excluding River of the Sacred beetle and Dark Jungle)?
And please, no blatant plugs.

Since a negative answer is also an answer...Do not start on an Arctic or Antarctic level...because that's what I have taken for my province, and when the level comes out, it will cast into oblivion any levels that have a remotely similar theme.

...on second thought, I do have something positive for you. Canada, eh? What about a chemical plant somewhere around those lakes you've got there? Could take place partly outside, partly inside...Get those tree objects and textures from the Ireland levels of TR:C and the toxic waste from TRLA...perhaps some mutants running wild...

Is that a plug? What's a plug?

LOL@mulf

Ah mulf, I already have a level to work on. Except I am stumped on what types of rooms/puzzles/atmosphere to add. I am just looking for levels that have good outdoor themes for me to uhh, "borrow" from. Oh, and don't worry, mine is a Jungle level, no snow whatsoever

Oh, I see.

Somehow I've come to like the idea, though. Maybe I will make that level myself...some day.

As for jungle levels, unfortunately I cannot recommend any. I'd suggest you add a temple or a woodcutters' camp or something like that to your level (if you haven't done so already), because plain nature is boring (and difficult to render properly as well).

Hi Bullet ridden monkey. You might like to take a look at 'The Quest of the Lost Diamond' by Bibi Phoque. The second level has a jungle theme.

Hey mulf about those lakes. We here in Canada don't have chemical plants, for example here in BC we use hydro power, clean efficient and totally awesome to watch. This leads to an idea, how about a level based on a dam like the Fugitive, all those sewers, run offs, some thing like that.
