I use a gamepad, I've tried a joystick, but it makes you feel more like your supposed to be controlling an F/18 Hornet than the worlds first cyber-chick.------------------ Visit my site: http://www.tombraiderconnection.8k.com UNDER CONSTRUCTION Or Email me james.mcc@btinternet.com IP: Logged |

I use both but more often then not I use the gamepad, I forget the keys on the key board.------------------ Top 5 Favorite sayings: -Never give-up! unless the situation is hopeless:) -The only thing certain in life is uncertainty! -You get what you pay for. -Nothing is impossible, it's just not likely to happen. -If it doesn't kill you, it can only make you stronger. I prefer the keyboard over the Stick. The Stick is too sensitive in my opinion. Same way with PS... I played TLR at my friend's house on PS and I got hit by the first spikes because of the sensetivity of the + key.IP: Logged |

The keyboard is best for quick moves: try this all at the same time:
run towards a block, while drawing your guns. jump up, start firing in the air, flip over halfway through the jump, and land and crouch while putting away the guns. It can be done easily and perfectly every time with a keyboard. (also I don't have any kind of joystick, so it's all i can do. lol!) IP: Logged |

hi! i've used the PC "numberpad" keys settings for all TR games since 96'--thankfully, TR is the ONE GAME that does it all in the keys; you don't need a mouse like *some* newer 3rd person perspective games--ever play Oni?... or Max Payne? there's NO 180 degree "flip" like how Lara can do; these games suffer because of that---it ruins the combat gameplay because of this failure--- TR is a game that doesn't require a "mouse" & an "up/down/left/right" keyboard hand to play it. use of a joystick was mentioned in Eidos .docs. it's refreshing to see someone else trying this(glad I'm Not)--- 'luck! I use the keyboard for the MAC versions, and the playstation types for the PS & PC. The playstation controllers are best because you can press everything at once and make her do funny things. Problem is though you develop sores on your fingers!!Also the playstation controller has VIBRATION mode. Adds an extra sense so it gets top ranking. (the PS version also has room REVERB mode) MIRAI IP: Logged |
