PROBLEM 2: the problem is the bed's textures is screwed up! when you turn to one angle to look at it, it's fine, but when you turn to the other direction, it's screwed up! what is the problem? is it cuz i have too many textures in my object texture set?? ------------------ NOMINATED JLIBOY64 FOR THE "BEST WADMAKER AWARD" IN LIL KID'S 2001 TRLE AWARDS! Well you'll have to make a meshswap. See the guide has to meshes one with a torch and one without. Your "Killer" is trying to pull out a torch, seeing it's not there he pulls a lara leg.------------------ Top 5 Favorite sayings: -Never give-up! unless the situation is hopeless:) -The only thing certain in life is uncertainty! -You get what you pay for. -Nothing is impossible, it's just not likely to happen. -If it doesn't kill you, it can only make you stronger. I haven't tryed it in the game, but I think now it works.First of all, there were something about 110 polygons and some of them were useless.... so now they are only less than 50, and the effect is almost the same. I had to delete some of the polygoons as you (and all of us) have sadly to accept the fact that the game has a limit of "approximation" while it calculates the polygons, so in some point of view the game has to decide which one of the polygons has the "priority" upon the others. If you put so little polygons next one to another, and with NORMALS which are not so different, the game "deletes" or don't see some polygons which are very next to the polygons with priority. You used "little" poligons next one to another and their surfaces had the normals with a very little angle between one of another, so they were something like an unic plane.... If you watch at them from above, nothing is wrong, but when you watch at the scene from that point of view (you show in the pic) which puts the polygons one upon another, the engine calculates only some of them. So I deleted some polygons and build the bed almost completely, but the final effect is only that you have bigger sheets..... ------------------ | |--->> psiko <<---| | DOWNLOAD the TECHNOEGYPTIANS PORTAL http://tombraider.videogame.it/giochi/trle/livelli/tep.zip First level from "Tomb Raider A - The TechnoEgyptians" IP: Logged |

think about one squared polygon, and consider its geometric center..... from that point, simply draw with the mind a virtual line which is 90° from the surface of the polygon.... that line is called NORMAL.....so, read again what I wrote before, maybe it is more clear.... anyhow, the meaning is that if you draw polygons which are very near to fit a plan but actually they are NOT, when you wacht at them in a position near to see them as a plan, some polygons can disappear as the appoximation of the engine (which is a guilty of every computing machine) does NOT show some of them..... well tell me if now it works, as I did not tried it in the game, and I don't know if now it is good...... if there are still problems, well, I can try another time....
